Charred Oak Premium Spirits is a locally owned, family-operated bottle shop built around a simple idea: a better selection deserves a better shopping experience.
When new ownership took over Charred Oak in 2025, we didn't rush to change everything overnight. Instead, we spent the first year listening, learning, and understanding the store, its customers, and what Auburn was looking for.
What we learned has shaped the next chapter of Charred Oak.
Our customers want more than shelves filled with bottles. They want interesting products, craft selections, harder-to-find finds, and the stories behind what they're buying. They want knowledgeable people who can help them discover something new. And they want an elevated shopping experience without assuming that elevated means expensive.

Local Ownership
Two different
experiences.
Charred Oak Premium Spirits shares local ownership with Tiger Spirits, but the two stores are intentionally different. Tiger Spirits was built to serve a broad range of Auburn customers and occasions, while Charred Oak is being developed around a more curated, craft-focused and elevated retail experience.
Each has its own identity, selection, and purpose. Our ownership team remains actively involved in both businesses, giving each the attention and investment it needs to continue growing while preserving what makes each store unique.
